- Are students guaranteed a job at the hospital by graduation?
All students are encouraged to apply to positions posted that are of interest where skills match required qualifications. Swedish Edmonds Hospital is an equal opportunity employer and all applicants are given equal consideration.
- Can I visit my student at their work site?
It is highly encouraged to discuss your students day at home after the work day is complete.

- Why is this program for people in their last year of Public School Services?
Our goal is for students to sign up for adult services (DVR, DDA, etc) in order to help earn paid jobs by the time they graduate. Some services require you to have graduated, or turned 21 before they can provide services. Because these services are so crucial to successful employment outcomes, we request that all students interested in the program be in their last year of school services.
- At the orientation, do students get a tour of the hospital campus?
Not at orientation, but certainly once class begins at the start of the school year!
- Do students bring their own lunches?
Students can absolutely choose to bring a lunch, or use the free voucher that Swedish Edmonds Hospital provides. It covers the cost of an entree.
How does travel training work?
What do students do on the first week that they start Project SEARCH?
Do students choose what internships they would like or does the instructor choose it for them?
How do students receive their ID badges?
For employment meetings, do students choose which people they want to attend?
Does a VOICE teacher visit the hospital campus?
