You made it!
What a year!
To the students and parents that have persevered and endured this year...well done!
It's time for graduation! It's time to move on to bigger and better things in high school.
It's very exciting!
We are still restricted by district and state COVID guidelines and procedures. The high schools are having in-person ceremonies. However, the location, number of invitations, seating, and celebrations are very restricted and controlled. We do not have access to the facilities and resources that the high schools have.
So...here are our plans for graduation:
Middle School Parade
Wednesday, June 23rd
6:00 - 7:00 PM
Madrona Parking Lot and Bus Lane
CELEBRATE!
Come to the Madrona parking lot at 6:00 PM and celebrate with a graduation parade!
It’s time to deck out the car for a graduation parade! Decorate your car to honor your graduate. Use balloons, posters and banners, window markers, and lights. Use whatever you can find.
Decorate your graduate! It's time to be loud and colorful!
After you travel around the parking lot for the parade, drive over to the bus lane for a graduation photo and your diploma!
Graduation Photos
Take your photo under the balloon arch
Students can exit their cars and get their pictures taken under the arch.
Photos will be available to parents after graduation.
Guidelines for our celebration parade;
Remain in your cars during the parade. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to get out and gather together. We need to ensure the safety of all involved, and stay in compliance with the state and district requirements.
Students can exit their cars for the photo booth and to receive their diplomas. Teachers will be there to give directions and help students and parents with procedures.
When: June 23rd @ 7:30 PM
Where: Your home
After the parade, families will return home to view graduation. The link to the digital graduation will be posted on the website and will be emailed to parents and students after the parade. Share our pre-recorded graduation ceremony with your family as we honor all their hard work!
