Chromebooks

Chromebooks have excellent built-in accessibility features and  tools.  Below are several resources to help student's access these features on their Chromebook.

Google or Chrome Apps and Extensions:

Apps like Google Drive, Calendar, Keep, each have useful features for accommodations. 

For starters, simply using a word processing program like Google Docs can help some struggling writers. 

Google Drive provides use of a shared drive between students and teachers an enable students to access assignments across environments and easily use chrome extensions such as Kami to complete worksheets. 

Google Keep, a notetaking app, can be used as a tool to support executive function.

Chrome Extensions 

Extensions are small and often free software programs created by developers to “modify and enhance the Chrome browser.” They are found usually in the top right corner of your Chrome browser. Users download and install extensions from the Chrome Web Store for the purpose of improving their online and/or offline workflow.
