Hi, I’m Camryn! I’m the designer of this publication and I graduate from Edmonds College in the Spring of 2023. I am a visual designer based out of Brier, Washington. My most frequent mediums are graphic design and photography. I also really enjoy painting, embroidery, and trying new mediums. I have always been a creative person and grew up drawing, painting, and crafting with
my family. I really took an interest in photography when I was in high school and started exploring digital and film formats. I really like editorial and layout design and would love to work for a magazine company in the future. I have always had a passion for working with kids as well, so my dream is to one day write and design a children’s book. I’m excited to continue exploring different ways of creating as I grow as a person and a designer.

I’m a lifelong Northwest Washington resident currently based in the Edmonds area. I enjoy using a wide variety of artistic mediums including acrylic painting, sculpting, mixed media, video production, animation, photography, digital illustration and music. Adobe Creative Cloud applications are my preferred mediums of choice because of the ability to “save a copy” and then branch off into an entirely different direction, something which is not possible with a physical canvas. My concepts and designs have a better chance to evolve but can also be easily undone if a transformation ends up detracting from the piece. My father was a very creative and talented artist and an inspiration to me. After receiving a BA in Graphic Design from Western Washington University, I got sidetracked into a career as an aerospace engineer. But now I’m ready to pursue a career in art again. This time, I hope to find something in Illustration or Video Production.
