Jeff Selingo , Who Gets in and Why
There is plenty of time, tons of options, resources and support for your students to make a post-secondary decision that is best for your student.
The best way to see if a college is a good fit is to visit. There are options from campus tours, information sessions, student for a day programs, fly in opportunities, open houses and many more ways to get on campuses. Make use of these events to learn about what each school has to offer.
Make sure to keep up on the timelines that are approaching. Your students will need help to complete the FAFSA beginning on October1.
Make sure your student knows how to ask for help. Their school counselors, college counselors, teachers and staff are here to help support their post-secondary planning, but asking for help is the first step.
