SEL Spotlight: EHS Football Staff featuring Mr Root
Mr. Root made an immediate positive connections with Gabe Vande Ryt as a freshmen in his math class. Mr. Root and Gabe continue today to expand their bond and talk football teams, football rankings, football stats and truly anything football related. As a surprise to Gabe, during the Friday night varsity game against Talawanda, he was invited down on the field as the coaches guest. Click below to hear more on this story!
Gratitude
When you feel gratitude, you feel a sense of abundance. When you express gratitude, especially when it’s heartfelt, you strengthen your relationships with others. Grateful people are found to be happier and more fulfilled. And gratitude leads you to be nicer to other people: more cooperative, patient, and trusting.
The links below are focused on teaching how to reset one's mind by practicing giving and receiving gratitude.
