BRAND MISUSE
HOW NOT TO MODIFY
Edgewood ISD's logo is the most important element of our visual identity. Consistent use of the logo is key to building our brand.
The logo is a visual representation of our brand and serves as a reminder of the culture that we strive to maintain in correlation with the Strategic Plan's vision and mission.
The logo will always be dependent upon the background and production method. Below are several ways that the logos given should not be modified.
Although the logo is an E. It should not be used as an E. It is not be used to spell the word Edgewood. Libre Baskerville Font should always spell Edgewood next to the logo.
Do not scrunch or stretch the logo to make it fit in an area. If you have an issue resizing the logo, please contact the Director of Communications.
Do not change the colors of the logo even if they look similar. The colors are clearly laid out in this document.
Logomarks or logos should not be tilted. They should always be displayed in an easy to read manner.
Do not color the bulldog any color other than white. There will be a gray bulldog on some things from the past, but the white bulldog puts the logo in our true purple, gold, and white colors. When using full color logos, the bulldog should just be an outline as provided on the Official Logo page of this site.
Stick with the approved fonts when placing the logo with words on anything. Please do not modify the fonts.
