- Medical reasons do not excuse students from participation in Physical Education.
- Short Term Medicals:
- A student having a short-term medical excuse (one or two class periods) is required to bring a note to the nurse from his/her parent or guardian.
- Long Term Medical:
- A student having a long-term medical excuse (five or more days) must bring in a doctor's note to the nurse to have on file in the medical office.
- When returning to class, the student must present a doctor's note to the nurse clearing them for physical activity.
- The student will be expected to participate in an activity adapted to meet their needs as indicated by their physician.
- All medical notes must be turned in directly to the NURSE'S OFFICE.
