Athletic Exemption is an opportunity offered to 10th-12th graders who are playing a JV or Varsity sport at Edgemont. This Athletic Exemption will allow them to get an Interscholastic Sport grade in place of their Physical Education class. During the period of their Physical Education class the student will be allowed a Study Hall.
The Athletic Exemption lasts as long as the season. If for any reason the student leaves the team, they are expected to return to Physical Education immediately or they will be in jeopardy of failing PE for that quarter.
