Most Important Information 6th Grade

Trip Dates: Wednesday, 10/22- Friday 10/24
Bag Drop Off: Tuesday 10/21 -5-7:30PM Bring EVERYTHING that students will take on the trip. 1 bag and 1 backpack.
If bags are not dropped off in advance your student will not be allowed to attend. If you need an alternative option, call our office by Friday 10/17. (310) 425-1605 Leave a message if no one answers.
Student Drop Off: Wednesday: by 7:30am the LATEST. The bus should leave shortly after 8AM. Families are welcomed to hang outside of they gate but not required to. Families cannot wait inside the gate.
Breakfast on Wednesday: We will communicate what will be offered for breakfast in advance. If you want to eat something different bring it with you and eat it BEFORE you get on the bus.
Student Pick Up: Friday 10/24: We expect to return between 1:00-2:00 but we will be updating you as soon as we leave the site with our estimated time of arrival.
Friday Pick Up: Students should go straight home after they arrive. We strongly advise against having students remain in the after school program as they will be exhausted. Please make arrangements to be available for pick up.
Communication: A TalkingPoints group will also be created for general updates throughout the trip. You can send questions through TalkingPoints but it may be challenging to respond via phone. TalkingPoints is easier for school staff on a laptop. If you have urgent questions text Mr. Trejo directly.
Communication: during the trip: Mr. Trejo will send his personal cell phone number to families if their student is attending the trip. Please text for any questions and call only for emergencies.
Cell phones/electronics: Students are not allowed to bring cell phones or electronics on the trip. Students should not bring smartwatches either. If you want to track your child, please consider an alternative like an airtag or just trust they are safe with us!
Google Photos Album: We will create a google photos album for the trip. We will add photos to the album and families will be able to see real time photo updates. We will do our best to get photos of all students, please be patient and avoid sending photo requests.

Fechas del viaje: Miércoles 22/10 – Viernes 24/10
Entrega de maletas: Martes 21/10 de 5:00 a 8:00 p. m. Traer TODO lo que los estudiantes llevarán al viaje. 1 maleta y 1 mochila.
Si las maletas no se entregan con anticipación, su hijo(a) no podrá asistir. Si necesita una opción alternativa, llame a nuestra oficina antes del viernes 17/10 al (310) 425-1605. Deje un mensaje si no le contestan.
Entrega de estudiantes: Miércoles, a más tardar a las 7:30 a. m. El autobús debe salir poco después de las 8:00 a. m. Las familias son bienvenidas a esperar afuera de la reja, pero no es obligatorio. No se permite esperar dentro de la reja.
Desayuno el miércoles: Comunicaremos con anticipación qué se ofrecerá de desayuno. Si desea comer algo diferente, tráigalo y cómalo ANTES de subir al autobús.
Recogida de estudiantes: Viernes 24/10. Esperamos regresar entre la 1:00 y las 2:00 p. m. Los estaremos actualizando en cuanto salgamos del lugar con la hora estimada de llegada.
Recogida el viernes: Los estudiantes deben irse directamente a casa después de llegar. Recomendamos no dejarlos en el programa después de la escuela ya que estarán muy cansados. Por favor haga los arreglos necesarios para estar disponible a la hora de recogida.
Comunicación: Se creará un grupo de TalkingPoints para actualizaciones generales durante el viaje. Puede mandar preguntas por TalkingPoints, pero podría ser difícil responder por teléfono. TalkingPoints es más fácil de usar para el personal en computadora. Si tiene preguntas urgentes, mande un mensaje de texto directamente al Sr. Trejo.
Comunicación durante el viaje: El Sr. Trejo compartirá su número de celular personal con las familias cuyos hijos asistan al viaje. Por favor mande mensajes de texto para cualquier pregunta y llame solo en caso de emergencia.
Teléfonos/electrónicos: Los estudiantes no pueden llevar teléfonos celulares ni dispositivos electrónicos al viaje. Tampoco deben llevar relojes inteligentes. Si quiere rastrear a su hijo(a), considere una alternativa como un AirTag o simplemente confíe en que estarán seguros con nosotros.
Álbum de Google Photos: Crearemos un álbum de Google Photos para el viaje. Iremos agregando fotos al álbum y las familias podrán ver actualizaciones en tiempo real. Haremos lo posible por tomar fotos de todos los estudiantes; por favor tenga paciencia y evite enviar solicitudes de fotos.
