Ms. Blackburn, being of sound mind, decided to find out exactly what rigor was. Knowing that a common language and definitions were important, she decided to head to the
library to do some research. As she wandered the campus looking for the correct building (there were so many!), she thought about rigor and what she thought it meant. She figured that in order to have rigor she would have to have her students do more in class work as well as give more homework. She sighed heavily as she thought about the extra time that would mean grading those extra worksheets everyday.
