As the day's light fades into the eternal black, the twilight crew rises like zombies from the grave. But unlike the weak crippled corpses of a normal zombie, this crew possesses the strength required to run the GRAVITY CORE. The core is 4 meters long, heavy and unwieldy. The seas speak an unforgiving banter of crashing against the ship and onto the deck. But before that water can combine with the tears in the eyes of the crew, a sillouette develops from the darkness. Like a hero embraced in an orange PFD type 3 armour, Sammy steps foward. She brings with her the gravity manipulator, the turning toboggan, the cranker supreme; she is the holder of  "Big Ass Wrench". Coming in at the size of a large toddler and weighing more than half of a large toddler Sammy screws the cap of the gravity core on.  Moral boosts among the crew and a smile almost appears on Aidan's face as the wrench's pride strikes deep throughout the science party. 

The gravity core is holding a tube that will act as the vehicle for the Gulf of Mexico Deep Water Quality Mud (GOMDWQM). The core is hoisted in the air by the A-frame and one last breath is held by the crew as it drops beneath the sea. Dropping to 800 meters took our gravity core enough time for the crew to relax and act like non-scientists proven by trivial conversations about the weather and a discussion about maybe sleeping after working since 1200. Bekka hear's the winch operator yell "halfway there" in which Aidan responds "woooah! Livin' on a prayer!" Bekka tries to ignore Aidan which becomes futile once the winch operator continues the song. After an excessive non-qualatative amount of cruise time (different from normal universe time), the gravity core arises victoriously. A dark gew covering its helm and suspended like a pig in a butcher shop, the core is carefully dropped to the deck. Aidan picks up the core with one finger and moves it off the Dolly parton. Hannah strolls out with the Big Ass Wrench, moving by sheer willpower alone (Hannah has been up since 10am), and starts undoing the nose cone. Before she could reach cephalopod hours, the nose cone finally fell off. Sammy, Schwing, & Aidan immediately put GOMDWQM on their faces building the start of their new rock band (geology pun). Aidan and Schwing are both drummers so the band would probably be very loud (they were also both gymnasts at a time). As the nose cone falls, the core is removed from its vehicle, capped, and immidiately curled by Sammy as Aidan spots to make sure her form is optimal. After a quick pump, the core catcher is removed and Ryan pulls out a saw with a smile on his face. "I have been waiting for this my whole life".  A victim of real cephalopod hours, with a sharp object, Ryan begins grinding the buisness end of the hack saw against the core pointing the blade toward Jackon's torsoe. Luckily, it was far up enough Jackson's torsoe that his rib cage would block anything too bad from happening. 

After the successful completion of the gravity core, the twilight crew, specifically Ja'kiah, popped some CTD bottles in the room next to the galley. Schwing nerded out over some profiles that look like all the other profiles he looks at and quized his mentees while they were under less than optimal resting habits (maybe the Schwing/Sammy/Aidan band can retune their circadian rythms)
