ECwifi is the main network used by faculty, staff, and students across the entirety of campus (with exception to the residential areas). When connecting to the network, you will be prompted to input a username and password. Enter your myEckerd credentials, and log in. For specific details on how to connect per device type, please follow these instructions.
ECguest is available for short term guest access. After you connect to this network, a web browser will open. Input your name, email address, and phone number. Once this is completed, you will receive a guest pass that is viable for the following seven days. Input the code when prompted to begin using this network. If you are hosting an event on campus, you can generate this code for your guests in advance. Multiple guests can use the same guest pass. More detailed instructions are available here.
Eckerd College has partnered with Boldyn to provide high-speed internet connection, via the network ResNet, to all dorms on campus. Please read further to consult a step-by-step guide on connecting your devices to ResNet:

Eduroam is a secure, world-wide wireless service developed for, and by, the international research and education community. Eduroam allows students, researchers, and staff to find connectivity at more than 2,500 locations in the US and more than 33,000 worldwide. You will be able to find and connect to the Eduroam wireless network at universities, national labs, museums, and other institutions across the globe using your Eckerd credentials.
This network is also available on campus, in order for guests from other institutions to connect with ease. While Eckerd faculty, staff, and students may connect to this network, it is strongly recommended to connect to ECWiFi over EduRoam--ECWiFi will grant the user access to campus-specific resources not available to those connected to EduRoam. When connecting to Eduroam, you will need to add @campus.eckerd.edu as part of your username. See below for a username example.
You can use this interactive map to locate where Eduroam is available: https://monitor.eduroam.org/map_service_loc.php.
For specific details on how to connect, please follow see these following guides to your respective mobile device type.
