Learning activities are designed to have practical applications rooted in life skills and are presented in the context of the student’s current and future learning environments. Components may include supported work placements, occupational programs, and vocational programs. When appropriate, students will participate in community-based activities.
Each class has two teachers present at all times to ensure that all of our students' needs are met. We strive on inclusion and provide students with new experiences to help them succeed once they leave our program and are fully integrated with society.

GRANTS
Each year our teachers apply to grants in order to provide our students with the best and highest quality education they can. The organizations listed have assisted the TLC with an outdoor learning space, vocational lab equipment, traveling throughout Texas, camping experiences, and creating opportunities for students to build their own benches and pinic tables.
