2024-2025 Legacy Band Shirt
Here is the official 2024-2025 Legacy Middle School band shirt! All band members are required to purchase the official 2024-2025 Legacy Band Shirt. This is used for the majority or all of their performances (depending on the group). All orders are due no later than Friday, August 30, 2024. You can download the band shirt order form here or pick one up at "Meet the Teacher". You can also order one at that time.
Performances and Deadlines
These are the dates and deadlines that are known at this time and will involve members of the different Legacy bands. This list is not final. More dates will be added. Dates may also be rescheduled or canceled due to any additional school closures or other health and safety concerns.
July 29 & 30, 2024 - "Meet the Teacher": Returning band members may bring any supplies and personal instruments to put in their locker. Those band members who used a school-provided instrument last school year may sign their "Instrument Usage Contract" for this year. Band shirts may be paid for and ordered at this time and paperwork can be turned in.
August 7, 2024 - "First Day of School": All returning band members should have all of their supplies at school by this day. Beginner band members should not bring any band supplies on this day.
August 23, 2024 - "Band Forms Due": All band handbook and online information forms are due. Band handbook forms will be available at "Meet the Teacher" and will be given out beginning the first week of school. The "Online Information Form" can be accessed here.
August 30, 2024 - "Band Shirt Order Deadline": All Band shirt orders are due by this date. Order forms will be available at "Meet the Teacher" and will be given out to band members beginning the first day of school.
September 27, 2024 - "Band Night with the High School Band": This involves members of the Advanced Bands only. Permission slips and a schedule will be given to band members no later than September 9, 2024.
October 21, 2024 - "Band Fall Concert": This involves ALL Wind Ensemble and Honor Band ONLY. It will be the first performance of the bands. The performance begins at 6:30 PM in the Legacy Cafeteria.
December 9, 2024 - "Band Winter Concert": This involves ALL band members in ALL bands. It will be the premiere performance of the 2024-2025 Beginner Band. The performance begins at 6:30 PM in the ECHS Performing Arts Center.
March 6, 2025 - "ECISD Pre-UIL Concert and Sightreading Performance": This involves ALL band members in Wind Ensemble and Honor Band. The location of this event is the ECHS Performing Arts Center. The performance times will be announced closer to the date but will be during the school day.
April 1, 2025 - "Region 11 Concert and Sightreading": This involves ALL band members in Wind Ensemble and Honor Band. The location of this event is the Judson ISD Performing Arts Center located at Judson High School. The performance times will be announced closer to the date.
May 14, 2025 - "Band Spring Concert": This involves ALL band members in ALL bands. It will be the final band performance for the 2023-2024 school year. The performance begins at 6:30 PM in the ECHS Performing Arts Center.
