I am so excited to be your teacher this year, and hope you are looking forward to this school year as much as I am! I graduated from Bridgewater State University where I majored in Elementary Education as well as Dance. I also minored in Special Education Inclusive Practices. I completed my student teaching requirements in East Bridgewater with my third grade teacher, Mrs. Curry, for the first two months of school in Fall 2019. I also student taught in Manchester England for a few weeks and then came back to the 4th grade in EB for the last few weeks of student teaching. I am currently working towards earning a master's degree in Literacy with a concentration in Culture and Diversity.

I am a long time Viking, as I grew up in town and attended East Bridgewater Schools from Kindergarten through High School. My class was the first to graduate from the Junior Senior High School. While I was a student here I was inspired by my teachers to dream big and work hard. Thanks to their support and influence I found my passion in teaching.

Aside from teaching 4th grade I also work at the Coffey Dance Center, where I have been a dancer since I was 3 years old. When I am not teaching I love reading, baking and spending time outside! I especially love spending time with my two younger siblings and my parents. I also have a two year old puppy named Piper who wishes she could come to school with me. Piper does make her "digital appearance" during special parts of the day to help my students stay focused and calm.
