Good afternoon,
We have continued to write letters in English, this week we used capital letters for proper nouns. In History, we learnt all about the Slave Trade. It was great having parents and carers in school today to show off all our amazing learning we have done so far this year, thank you to those who could make it!
Next week:
English: We will continue writing formal letters, this time writing to the CBBC using different sentence types.
Maths: We will be using our place value knowledge to compare and order 3 digit numbers.
Creative curriculum: We will be looking at the question ‘Has everyone always been treated fairly’, focusing on the slave trade, segregation in America, the apartheid, the suffrage movement and the equality act.
PE Year 3: Children need to come dressed in PE kit on Wednesday & Friday. Children need to wear a pair of plain black or navy blue jogging bottoms or shorts, a plain white t-shirt and a plain black or navy blue hoodie. Children need to wear suitable shoes for PE (trainers or plimsolls).
PE Year 4: We go swimming on Wednesday. Children need to come to school in their uniform and bring their swimming kit in a bag. Children need to come dressed in PE kit on Friday.
