Good afternoon,
Teams Calder and Loxley have been working very hard on their independent writes this week and have produced some wonderful narratives on exploring an Egyptian tomb.
Next week:
We have our learn through week on charities and will be focusing on the local charities Communitea and Selby Hands of Hope with a particular focus on mental health.
English: We will be writing an information leaflet about what mental health is and how you can support yourself.
Maths: We will be completing our learning on decimals.
P.E is now every Tuesday and Friday. Children need to come dressed in PE kit for the whole day. Children need to wear a pair of plain black or navy blue jogging bottoms or shorts, a plain white t-shirt and a plain black or navy blue hoodie. Children need to wear suitable shoes for PE (trainers or plimsolls).
Homework will be set this week.
If children cannot access the internet at home, sheets can be requested for homework.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office.
Thank you for your continued support,
Mrs Lazenby and Miss Austwick
