Team HUMBER (year 6)

Good afternoon, 

Team Humber have had another good week and have enjoyed starting our letters to Kier Mather.

Next week:

English: We will be starting a persuasive letter to Keir Mather about the importance of recycling electronic devices. 

Maths: We will be finding a fraction of an amount. 

Curriculum:We will be starting a persuasive letter to Keir Mather about the importance of recycling electronic devices.

PSHE: We will be looking at our dreams for how the world could be a better place. 

P.E is on Tuesday and Friday. Children need to come dressed in PE kit for the whole day. Children need to wear a pair of plain black or navy blue jogging bottoms or shorts, a plain white t-shirt and a plain black or navy blue hoodie. Children need to wear suitable shoes for PE (trainers or plimsolls).  

Homework will be set this week.

Reading: The children will be expected to read a minimum of 3 times a week, ideally to a grown-up. This needs to be recorded in their reading records.

Spelling: The children will be expected to play a minimum of 5 games of the set spelling rule on EdShed. 

Maths: The children will have a task set on My Maths.

Children are expected to access TTRockstars a minimum of 3 times a week.
