Good afternoon,
Team Humber have worked incredibly hard this week with their Maths assessments and they have been busy finding out about Fairtrade and chocolate so that they can write a magazine article next week.
Next week:
English: We will be starting our independent writes and producing a magazine article on Fairtrade chocolate.
Maths: We will multiplying fractions by whole numbers.
Curriculum: We will be identifying human features of geography by identifying trade links and locating countries on a map.
Science: We will be looking at how to classify objects so they meet a specific goal.
PSHE: We will be looking at our learning strengths and how we can set challenging but
realistic goals for ourselves
P.E is on Tuesday and Friday. Children need to come dressed in PE kit for the whole day. Children need to wear a pair of plain black or navy blue jogging bottoms or shorts, a plain white t-shirt and a plain black or navy blue hoodie. Children need to wear suitable shoes for PE (trainers or plimsolls).
Homework will be set this week.
Reading: The children will be expected to read a minimum of 3 times a week, ideally to a grown-up. This needs to be recorded in their reading records.
Spelling: The children will be expected to play a minimum of 5 games of the set spelling rule on EdShed.
Maths: The children will have a task set on My Maths.
Children are expected to access TTRockstars a minimum of 3 times a week.
Thank you for your continued support,
Mrs Danbury
