Good afternoon, 

What a fantastic trip to Cannon Hall Farm we had! The children were brilliant and represented Staynor so well. A big thank you to our volunteers for assisting us on the trip. 

Please note there will be no book change this week.

Coming up next week: 

Monday and Tuesday is whole school transition. Your child will go to their new classroom at 8:45 to be greeted by their new teacher. We know the children will thoroughly enjoy all the wonderful activities their new teacher has planned for them. 

From Wednesday, the children will return to their usual Team.

English- The children will be continuing to explore the features of a diary and thinking about what it would have been like and how it would have felt to live in a Victorian workhouse.

Maths - 

The children will be continuing to explore money and using what they have learnt about the value of 1p, 2p, 5p and 10p coins to solve problems. 

PSHE-

The children will be looking at who they can speak to if they need help and how they would do this when needed. This will include the key vocabulary: trusted adults, help, worry, ask, home, school, community.
