Good afternoon,
This week the teams wrote another non chronological report using apostrophes for possession. They wrote all about famous people from Poland. In Geography, we compared Poland’s settlements to the United Kingdom’s. We discovered they are quite similar. In Science, we used all our knowledge of animal groups and habitats to design our own animal, thinking about what it needs to survive in its habitat.
Next week:
Creative Curriculum: Is daily life in Poland similar to the UK?
Maths: We will be continuing to round 4 digit numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1,000.
English: We will be writing an independent non chronological report about Polish food.
PSHE Y3: We will be looking at positive friendships.
PSHE Y4: We will be looking at positive friendships.
Homework:
Homework will be set on a Friday and is due the following Friday.
Reading: The children will be expected to read a minimum of 3 times a week, ideally to a grown-up. Please record this in their reading records.
