My name is Rene Warren and I am a wife, mother and teacher! I began my journey at East Wake Academy in March 2012 as the Middle School Technology teacher. My former employers are James B Hunt High School in Wilson NC and University Health Systems (Vidant Healthcare) in Greenville NC. I was born and raised in Rockingham NC and continued my education at the University of NC - Pembroke with a BS degree in Accounting. After completing my MBA at ECU and working in the finance field at Vidant, I decided that the field of education was my calling and received my Technology/Business/Marketing teaching degree in 2002. I now live in Wendell with my husband, 3 children, and two amazing cats. I am happy to be a part of the East Wake Academy family and look forward to educating your children on the importance of technology in today's society.
