The core academic teachers will be checking at the beginning of the class period for the preparedness of the students.

Books and Materials

Students will be expected to have their class materials by Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

Students will be receiving TWO work books for math.  To help them last the year, it is suggested that they are covered with contact paper.  Contact paper should be put on the books at home.

Please refer to the materials tab for necessary materials.

Absences

If a child is absent from school (hybrid or remote), he/she should check Schoology to find out what was missed.

Students who miss class due to an absence or other predetermined reason (band/orchestra lesson, speech, etc.) have a responsibility to check Schoology for missed assignments. Teachers are not responsible for tracking down students who are missing work. Students need to complete the work as soon as possible and return it to the appropriate teacher. Students who miss tests/quizzes due to an absence the day of the test/quiz will be responsible for taking the test/quiz. Students who miss an extended period of school due to illness will make arrangements with their teachers to make up the work upon their return to school .
