Miss Schaeffer is a graduate of Mansfield University. She also has her master’s degree in Elementary Education from Kutztown University. The 2025-2026 school year will be Miss Schaeffer’s 30th year teaching in the East Penn School District (28th at LMMS). In her spare time, Miss Schaeffer likes to hang out with her friends, read a good book, assist with the Emmaus cheer teams, and travel. This year she will also be the NJHS advisor at LMMS. Last year along with Mr. Scholl, she started the LMMS Travel Club. We went to Crystal River, FL for 5 days in June. Next June we are looking forward to a 6 day trip to San Diego, CA.

Mr. Scholl is a 2002 graduate of Penn State University. He earned his master’s degree in Classroom Technology at Wilkes University. The 2025-2026 school year will be his 23rd year at LMMS. Mr. Scholl is a member of the LMMS Success Team, co-advisor of the 6th-grade after-school volleyball program, co-leader of the LMMS Travel Club, and scorekeeper for the Emmaus High School Girls Basketball Team. Mr. Scholl is happily married and has a large family. He has two daughters, Hadley and Carlie. He is a big sports fan, cheering on all Philadelphia teams, especially the Eagles and Phillies, however, his favorite thing to do is to root for his beloved Nittany Lions of Penn State University.

Mrs. Dzedzy is a graduate of Lock Haven University. She earned her master’s degree in Classroom Technology at Wilkes University. Mrs. Dzedzy will be in her 22nd year at LMMS during the 2025-2026 school year. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, Collins. When she is not spending time with her family, she enjoys spending time with her friends, reading a great book, riding bike, and going for walks.

The 2025-2026 school year will be Mrs. Reinert’s 23rd year of teaching! She graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. Mrs. Reinert began her teaching career in the School District of Philadelphia where she taught all subjects to students in grades six through eight. Three years later, she began teaching at Lower Macungie Middle School where she has taught 6th grade ever since! Mrs. Reinert holds a Master’s Degree in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University. Outside of LMMS, Mrs. Reinert enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 children, and cats! She loves to travel to new places and spend time outdoors. Her hobbies include swimming, playing board games, cooking, baking, and doing arts & crafts (especially crocheting). She also loves music, and she is looking forward to singing some new tunes about history with you this year!

Mr. Verile graduated from Moravian College in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Sociology. Before coming to LMMS, he spent 5 years teaching fifth grade language arts and science at the Easton Area Middle School and 6 years at Lincoln Elementary. The 2025-2026 school year will be his 7th year at LMMS. He has a Master's Degree in Educational Strategies from Wilkes University and is currently working towards a second Master's in Classroom Technology. When he is not teaching, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Justina, who also shares his passion for teaching because she is a teacher, too. They welcomed their daughter, Hayden, to the family in May of 2016 and his son Jackson in May of 2018. They enjoy cooking together and playing with their cat, Mia, and dog, Milo. Mr. Verile also enjoys coaching football for Emmaus High School and watching/playing all sports. He is a big NY Giants and Yankees fan.
Mrs. Yergey is a graduate of Bucknell University where she studied education and ran track & field. A few years later, while coaching various cross-country and track teams in Providence and Central Falls, she earned her master's degree in Reading from Rhode Island College. Mrs. Yergey has taught in New Jersey as well as Rhode Island for over 12 years before making her way to LMMS. When she's not teaching, you might see Mrs. Yergey with her husband cheering on their 3 kids who compete in various sports throughout the year. She also loves to run lots of miles, sit still and read a book, or spend time in the kitchen making healthy food for her family.
