Grades

Grade Information

All students and parents will have access to the student’s grades through the Power School Portal and through Schoology this year. Students will be required to check their grades every two weeks. They can log in by using their computer login and password.

As teachers we feel that it is important for parents and students to be able to review tests, quizzes, project rubrics, etc. as well. Therefore, students will receive their graded papers back in class and will review them with the teacher. Once all students have completed the graded assessments, the assessments will be returned to students to keep. Students are to keep the assessments in their class binder until directed by the teacher to take the assessments out. This way any assessment can be referred back to by a student, parent, or teacher until the end of the unit or quarter. Please check the graded papers section of the student’s binders for recently graded work throughout the school year. If at some point in the year a student is in the D/F range for a particular core class, a grade report will be printed and sent home with the student to be signed by a parent and returned to the subject teacher.
