Education
I graduated from Kutztown University in 2005 with my degree in Art Education. I then returned to Kutztown and completed my Masters degree in Art Education in Spring of 2008.
In my 15th year of teaching art Art Shoemaker, my hope is to continue being active in the school and in community!
A Family of Shrecks :)
I love spending time with my wife, Mrs. Shreck, who taught at Shoemaker over the years and our 4 year old son. Together, we love playing sports, building with Legos, doing art projects, and do anything Ghostbusters-related. Fun fact, Mr. and Mrs. Shreck can be seen running the streets of Boston (made to look like NYC) twice in the 2016 Ghostbusters movie while being 17 weeks pregnant with our son :)
We also have a rescue dog named Ellie that our son calls his "puppy-sister". She is definitely one loved puppy.
Hobbies
I enjoy spending time with friends and family, whether it is watching a movie, or just conversing. I love playing and watching all sports, with an extreme love of basketball and football. Go Spurs and Broncos! My own art is VERY important to me, and I can always be found working on a new project. I also LOVE comics and superheroes since they are what originally made me have a love of art! Something that people do not know about me is that I collect items pertaining to Ghostbusters including concept art, prototypes, storyboards and other memorabilia.
Music is also a major part of my life. This will be my 14th year working with the Emmaus High School Marching Band as the Assistant Director. Every Friday night I can be found in the stands with the band! Lastly, I have a great interest in cars, especially Mustangs and Shelbys. Good thing we are the Shoemaker Mustangs! :)
