Welcome! You are part of a learning community dedicated to improving your reading, comprehension, speaking, and listening skills! Our goal is to learn more about ourselves as readers, and gain the skills necessary to become effective academic communicators with our peers. 

 Components of Reading 

The majority of our reading this year will be books of YOUR choice! It will be your responsibility to make sure that you are prepared for class with that book, so that we can learn the skills and strategies needed for fiction and nonfiction reading.
