About ME:

I am very excited to be teaching second grade again this year.  When I first started in the East Penn School District over 20 years ago, I taught second grade at Kings Highway.  When that school closed, I was welcomed into Jefferson's family, teaching first grade, for 5 years.  Then, I moved back into my most favorite grade - SECOND!  

I received my undergraduate degree from Shippensburg University with a minor in Reading.  I earned a Masters Degree in Special Education K-12 from DeSales University.  I also have my Reading Specialist K-12 certification from Moravian College. The most recent certification I have received is focused in Autism.  (Teachers never stop learning either!). 

A little more about myself........ I enjoy taking walks/hiking, cooking/baking, watching all types of sports, playing games and just making my friends and family laugh and smile.   Josh and I have 3 awesome kids:  Hollie, Colin, and Cayden.  When we are not busy with EYA/high school sports or tutoring, we love being outside, gardening, working in the yard, being creative and crafty, and simply having fun!  We also have three cute cats named Stella, Marley and Brisket.  

I can 't wait to get to know you and all of your interests.
