Qualitative Reading Inventory

We use the QRI in the fall and at the end of the year to measure where a child starts, and where they end.  

What is the QRI?

The Qualitative Reading Inventory is a diagnostic tool that assesses:

• Word recognition
  
  

• Reading fluency
  
  

• Reading comprehension
  
  

• Listening comprehension (optional)
  
  

It helps educators understand how well a student reads and why they may struggle.
