Course Description
This course will provide students with the knowledge required to create Web Sites using Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 and will include fundamental and advanced Web creation techniques. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be prepared to complete the Adobe Certification Exams. In the business and education community, job applicants with these certifications are recognized as highly skilled users of Adobe software.

Course Layout
This course is set up to teach Adobe Dreamweaver CS6, as it's Web Design Software. The course is broken up into 6 chapters per quarter. Each chapter will include 3 Websites that the students will complete along with a written test at the end of the chapter. In addition to the Websites developed throughout the chapters, students will also be completing a semester long authentic website that they will be building at the end of each chapter. This website along with a cumulative written exam at the end of the semester will be the basis of their final exam grade.

Adobe Certification
The text and course materials are designed to prepare students to take the Adobe Certification Exams (Adobe Certified Expert or Adobe Certified Associate). While these exams are not required, all students are encouraged to pursue this opportunity as it would provide those interested with a highly regarded certification in the Web Design industry.
