Miss. Machado

Welcome Students and Families!

My name is Miss. Machado and I am thrilled to be your Kindergarten teacher. I am ready to learn new things each and every day with you. I am excited to see how much we grow as a classroom family. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and Early Childhood Education from Moravian College. I am currently pursing a Master's Degree in Reading and Literacy at Kutztown University. I value continuous learning and enjoy reading about current trends in the Education field. As a team, we are dedicated to your child's success and development as a life-long learner. Kindergarten will be a safe, positive, and welcoming experience so that all students can LEARN and GROW. 

I was born in New Jersey but raised in Macungie, Pennsylvania. I am a proud graduate of Emmaus High School and also attended Lower Macungie Middle School and Alburtis Elementary School as a student. I was constantly supported by my teachers growing up and motivated to achieve my goals. One of my goals being to become an Early Childhood teacher. My heart is filled with hapiness knowing that I can give back to my community and inspire others to follow their dreams.

Hobbies: I love hiking, paddle boarding, finding new coffee shops, and learning new languages.

Sport:  Soccer and Field Hockey

Sweet Treat:  Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream

Restaurants:  Urbano 

Movie: "Moana" and "Toy Story" 

Stores: IKEA, Barnes & Noble, and Target (of course)

Vacation Destination: The BEACH! I enjoy spending time with my family at Bethany Beach in Delaware.
