Hi! My name is Jade Swavely, and I am so excited to welcome you to our classroom! I grew up in Emmaus and graduated from Emmaus High School in 2013. I earned my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Penn State University and my master's degree in Instructional Media and STEM from Wilkes University. This will be my eighth year teaching and my fifth year teaching third grade.

My husband and I were married in 2023 and welcomed our daughter, Elle, in September 2025. We are excited to be expecting our second baby in January 2027, and Elle can't wait to become a big sister! We also have an adorable dog named Lilah. When I'm not at school, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, playing with Elle, taking Lilah for walks, staying active, or shopping.

I truly love teaching third grade and believe it is one of the most exciting years of elementary school. Students grow so much academically, socially, and emotionally, and it's amazing to watch their confidence and independence flourish throughout the year. My goal is to make learning engaging, meaningful, and fun while creating a classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and supported.

Building strong relationships with both students and families is one of the most important parts of my job. I believe that when we work together, children thrive. I prioritize social emotional learning, equity, and getting to know each student as an individual so they can reach their fullest potential.
