Family Living
In this unit, students will be invited to explore the meaning of the word family. Students will put together a Family Album project designed to enhance student knowledge and appreciation of the function of different family types and stages of the Family Life Cycle while being sensitive to our students' family privacy.

Foods and Nutrition
Foods and Nutrition
In this unit, students will discover the importance of breakfast as they follow recipes and demonstrations to create healthy, fun food for the morning. Students will also practice safe food handling techniques and hear about ways to prevent bacteria from getting into their food.

Sewing and Project Design
Sewing and Project Design
In this unit, students will choose and/or design a sewing project. They will build upon basic sewing concepts learned in 6th Grade as they become more skilled in using the Elna sewing machine to complete an apron project.
