Caring For Kids
In this unit, students will explore the different milestones young children achieve from infancy through school age. Projects to enhance this units learning objectives may include creating a child-friendly activity for prospective babysitters to use on the job and designing an advertisement for a babysitting business.

Foods and Nutrition
In this unit, students will be given hands on opportunities in a Foods Lab setting to practice proper food handling techniques. They will follow simple recipes to create kid-friendly food as well as discuss ways to balance nutrition with a healthy lifestyle.

In this unit, students will be introduced to our Elna sewing machines and basic sewing skills as they work toward creating a beginners project - bean bags and/or stuff bag.
