All students and their parents are expected to review the Emmaus High School Discipline Code annually. The Discipline Code is available at this link. Questions about the code should be directed to a student’s appropriate Student Assistant Principal.
Students should refer to the Board Policies Section of the East Penn School District Website to review the East Penn School District School Board Policies, specifically the Pupil Section with policies in the 200's.
There are various types of misconduct outlined in the Emmaus High School Discipline Code that may result in suspension/exclusion from school for a period of time.
Students who are suspended from school may not participate in any co-curricular or extra-curricular activities during the day or evening of the suspension date(s).
Students who are suspended from school may not be on school property or at any school-sponsored events until their suspension period has been completed.
Makeup privileges for work missed during the suspension will be granted in accordance with rules governing other absences. It is the student's responsibility to communicate with their teachers during the suspension period to secure the missed work and make arrangements to make up tests or quizzes that were missed. Work not completed within the time established will be considered in the same manner as other incomplete work for which the completion deadline has passed.
