- Students in the Easton Area School District are provided with Google accounts. Gmail is associated with Google accounts only for students in grades 6 through 12. Elementary students have access to Google Drive, Slides, Docs, Classroom and more but do not have access to email. Please be sure to review our Use of the Internet and District's Network here.

Getting the most from your iPad: Tips to keep the iPad running well and for troubleshooting common issues
KEEP THE IPAD UP-TO-DATE
To update to the latest operating system.
Open: Settings--General--Software Update--Install now
Updates should be done at home to prevent failing.
MAKE SURE IPAD IS PLUGGED IN when updating

CLEAR YOUR CACHE (DELETE HISTORY) IN SAFARI
Go to iPad Settings
Scroll down and select Safari
Go to the bottom and select Advanced
Select Website Data
Go to the bottom and select Remove All Website Data
CLEAR YOUR CACHE (DELETE HISTORY) IN CHROME
Open Chrome
Click on the 3 dots in the upper-right corner
Scroll down and select History
Go to the bottom and select Clear Browsing Data
In the next window, select Clear Browsing Data again
LOG OUT OF ALL PERSONAL ACCOUNTS
Your @roverkids account is all that is required for your school activities. Logging in to personal email accounts or a personal Apple ID can interfere with many apps and sites that you may need to use. Log out of all personal accounts and delete them from the iPad to avoid problems.
CLOSE OUT ALL APPS
Closing background apps helps the iPad to run more efficiently and more quickly.
Double-click on the home button. Swipe up any open apps to close them out completely.
DO A HARD RESTART
Doing a hard restart of the iPad helps to clear out those things that may be slowing your iPad down.
Press and hold both the Power button and the Home button together until the screen turns black and the Apple logo appears. Once you see the Apple, let go of both buttons. Do not do this with iPad plugged in.
