Dear Birchland Park Families,
As we enter the final quarter of the school year, I want to take a moment to both celebrate how far our students have come and to encourage everyone to stay focused as we approach the finish line.
Quarter 4 is always a unique time in the school year. There are many important assessments, including state testing, along with a variety of exciting events, activities, and celebrations that can interrupt our typical routines. While these moments bring energy and joy to our school community, they can also make it more challenging for students to stay grounded in their academic responsibilities.
We are asking for your partnership in helping students remain focused and committed to doing their very best each day. Finishing the year strong academically not only sets students up for success in their next grade, but also builds confidence and a sense of accomplishment they can carry forward.
Equally important, we expect all students to continue demonstrating the qualities of a strong Birchland Park citizen—showing respect, responsibility, kindness, and perseverance. These values help create the positive school environment that allows everyone to enjoy the many special events that come with the end of the year.
We want every student to be able to fully participate in and enjoy these upcoming activities, and that comes with meeting both academic and behavioral expectations. With your support at home and our continued efforts at school, we are confident that our students will rise to the occasion.
Thank you, as always, for your ongoing partnership and support. Let’s work together to ensure a strong and successful finish to the school year for all of our students!
Sincerely,
Warm regards,
Steve Pearson
