JA Inspire is a coalition of educators and industry leaders, led by Junior Achievement of Eastern NC.
All students will participate in the JA Inspire classroom curriculum before and after the event. The JA Inspire Career Exploration Fair, our capstone experience, is designed as a hands-on career exploration experience for 8th grade students.
The event will showcase high-growth/high-demand careers through local businesses and educational organizations. Exhibits include interactive career stations with mentors who share their career advice with the students and engage students with equipment, technology, and the opportunity to “step into the shoes” of individuals representing many industries in the Triangle area.
The JA Inspire Career Exploration Fair will be held on December 9, 2025 from 8:30 am - 1 pm. Student groups will arrive at assigned times and engage with exhibitors for 2-hour shifts.
The JA Inspire Career Exploration Fair will be held at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds, 4285 Trinity Road, Raleigh, NC 27607.
8th grade students (13-14 years old) and educators from Triangle area middle schools, as well as 40+ exhibitors from the Triangle's high-growth/high-demand industries
