I grew up in Pitman, NJ with my Mom, Dad, and brother. My birthday is February 6.
I received my bachelors in Elementary Education from Lock Haven University. After graduating I began my teaching career in a behavior health hospital teaching students grades K-6. I then moved to Maryland and taught in the Anne Arundel County School District teaching 2nd and 3rd grades. Life changes brought me home to New Jersey and I spent two years in Paulsboro teaching 1st grade. This is my 8th year in the East Greenwich family and my 13th year teaching. I am extremely excited to be your child's fourth grade teacher.
When I am not at school I enjoy, spending time with my two kids, Chase and Kenzie, my husband, family and friends, working out, reading, playing with my dog Lily. I spend most of my summer in Cape May at my parents beach house.
I love sports, especially baseball and hockey. In high school I was in marching band for 6 years in the color guard, and even marched in a drum and bugle corps.
Some of my favorite things include:
Dessert- Anything Chocolate (Peppermint Patties, Kit Kats, Crunch bars, mint chocolate chip ice cream) Alaura's Ice Cream!
Sports Teams- Phillies and Flyers
