Contributions

Arab Americans have made significant contributions to various fields in the United States, including politics, science, business, arts, culture, and social activism. While the community is diverse, encompassing people from 22 countries across the Middle East and North Africa, their collective impact has been profound.

One Contribution we get from many of Arab Americans are in the science in the tech fields, Many Arab Americans become doctors, surgeons, and engineers due the hard-working nature and willingness to help others. One example is Dr. Michael DeBakey: A pioneering heart surgeon of Lebanese descent, Dr. DeBakey made numerous advancements in cardiac surgery and medical technology, such as the development of the heart pump and innovations in vascular surgery.

Another example: Many Arab Americans have excelled in higher education, with a significant number of professors, researchers, and intellectuals contributing to disciplines like history, sociology, political science, and literature. Palestinian American revolutionized post-colonial studies and challenged Western perspectives on the Middle East.

Last Example: Is the Arab Americans being huge members in Politics helping in are community's, the state, or even the country. Mayor Michael Bloomberg's Arab American Liaison is a big example. In New York City, Arab Americans have had a visible role in local governance, influencing public policies at the local level, including law enforcement and community integration efforts.
