World Book Day

Year 3 Jade took up the challenge to send mystery story-balloonist Ruby Delacroix our very best poems for World Book Day 2021. A chance to let imaginations and dreams soar in the middle of lockdown. You can read some of their fantastic efforts here, and see what other year groups in Earlsmead did too!

News on our routines

P.E. kits - for the first half term children are not required to bring kits for P.E. We will be doing plenty of exericse! We have a short P.E. session with our coach on Wednesday, and we will be running in the Daily Mile every day. Pupils can bring in running shoes in a bag on any day if they wish for these sessions.

Home Reading Books Please bring these in on Monday when we begin. New books will be issued every Thursday from next week. Returned books will be placed in quarantine for 3 days to prevent transmission of the virus.

Homework will be online only and should begin on September 18th. There will be spellings and times tables to practise, and a few other research or speaking tasks, all connected to the learning we are doing in the class that week. Please contact us if you are not able to access the homework for any reason. We fully understand this will be difficult for some people and want everyone to have equal access.
