Principles of Health Science

Principles of Health Science is an academic elective designed to develop Health Care Specific Knowledge and Skills, Effective Communication, Ethical and Legal Responsibilities, Client Care, Safety, First Aid and CPR, Anatomy and Physiology and Disease Processes. Students will become AHA Heartsaver Certified which includes Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, First Aid as well as AED. This course prepares the student for their transition to clinical and work based experiences in health care.
