Earth Systems is the study of Earth's interacting spheres – the geosphere (land), hydrosphere (water), atmosphere (air), and biosphere (life) – and how energy and matter cycle through them. It examines processess such as plate tectonics, weather and climate, the water cycle, and human impacts on the planet.
A high school Earth Systems student is is expected to have completed Algebra I and at least one year of high school science course such as: Biology, IPC or Chemistry.
Due to the unprecedented nature of the school year, Earth Systems is evolving the timeline to meet the needs of students. I have attached a link you can click to see what we are doing for the immediate future.
Unit 00: Intro to Earth Systems
Unit 01: Geologic Times
