About Me

Hello!  I'm so excited to begin my nineteenth year of teaching, and my second year at Westlake High School!  After receiving my Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, I worked in the mortgage industry for about three years up in the Dallas area.  After realizing my passion was mentoring and inspiring young adults, I switched both careers and cities and landed in Austin in 2007.  After teaching Business and Marketing classes at Lake Travis High School for seven years, followed by ten more years at Dripping Springs High School, I'm super excited to call now Westlake home!  

When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me hanging with my puppy Sunny, playing volleyball or ping pong, watching sports (football and volleyball), listening to/playing music, relaxing on or near a lake, hanging with friends, reading, or going on adventures around our amazing city. I'm looking forward to an amazing year!
