What is Esports?

Esports goes far beyond simply playing video games, it helps build character, develop essential life skills, and create meaningful opportunities for students.

Through the Westlake High School Esports program, students gain many of the same benefits as traditional athletics, including teamwork, communication, strategic thinking, and leadership. In addition, participation in esports can open doors to collegiate scholarship opportunities. Westlake High School students compete against other schools every Thursday.
