About Me

Welcome to my class! My name is Darcie Gilde, and I am excited to be your teacher this year. This marks my 24th year in education. I have taught Digital Graphics & Animation throughout my teaching career and have spent the last ten years teaching Video Game Design using Unreal Engine. This year, I’m excited to begin a new chapter by teaching AP Cybersecurity.

In addition to teaching, I create the graphics for our varsity football and men’s soccer games and operate the jumbotron during games. I also serve as the sponsor of our Rocket League Esports program, which has earned two PlayVS state championships over the past four years. This year, I’m excited to expand our Esports program by adding Super Smash Bros. to our lineup.
