Unified Robotics 2023 Schedule

Sessions on Mondays at 6:30pm in the Robotics Building at WHS


October 23: Introduction demo + start building bots


October 30: Building bots + setup for drawing next session


November 6: exploring sounds/colors, draw with a robot


November 13: Introduce Spheros and experiment 


November 27: paint with Spheros


December 4: Robot and Art Showcase

Unified Robotics in Eanes

The WHS Robotics Department (FRC 2468 Team Appreciate) has been chosen to participate in a pilot program through FIRST Robotics called FIRST Assist.  This program is partnering with Unified Champion Schools to create unified robotics teams to compete in their UIL Tournament.  

Unified participants will partner with their peers who are currently in the Robotics Program at WHS.  They will work together to create a LEGO EV3 Sumo robot and will compete as a team at the UIL Tournament.  

What is required to participate in Unified Robotics

Open to all Westlake High School, West Ridge Middle School, and Hill Country Middle School students!
