OUR MISSION
The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
Throughout the year, we participate in local competitions in basketball, track, and tennis. We also offer bocce ball in the fall, but without competition. Athletes can choose to participate in only one sport if they'd like; they do not have to commit to all.
We are incredibly grateful to Benchmark Bank for their generosity. Their commitment to supporting our mission helps us make a meaningful impact in our community. Thank you, Benchmark, for being a key part of Eanes Special Olympics!
