An essential part of any successful band program is a strong private lessons program. Private lessons are offered at Hill Country before, during and after school. Unlike tutoring, private lessons are not needed just for students who may be struggling in class. Private lessons are for every student! In class, we are not always able to give your child as much individualized attention as we would like. Private lessons are a chance for your child to have lessons with a specialist on their instrument and have instruction that is tailored specifically to the individual student. Students who may be struggling can get the extra help needed to improve, but the average to advanced players can get instruction to advance even further and stay challenged outside of class.
Our private lesson staff has been hired by the Eanes ISD Band Staff and has completed all Eanes ISD background checks. These teachers are highly qualified professionals that will work closely with the band directors to help every student progress. Payment for the lessons is handled on an individual basis with the teacher and is consistent amongst all private teachers in Eanes and in the Austin area.
Students that are interested in private lessons should contact the teachers below as soon as possible so that schedules can be set and instruction can begin. An investment in private lessons is one of the very best and most worthwhile things that you can do to ensure a successful band experience for your child. Please reach out if you have any other questions!
